La I Jornada Intercultural 2015

Con motivo de la festividad de Halloween  y la festividad del 1 de noviembre (festividad de todos los santos), en nuestro colegio hemos celebrado la I JORNADA INTERCULTURAL.

Hemos intercambiado experiencias de tradiciones americanas y tradiciones españolas.

Las familias americanas decoraron el salón de actos como si fuéramos a  hacer " TRICK OR TREAT"

On Halloween and for the festivity of the November 1 ( All Saints' Day), our school held our first  INTERCULTURAL Day.

We first exchanged the experiences of traditions from Americans and traditions from the Spanish.

American families decorated the hall as if we were going to do " TRICK OR TREAT"

Este grupo de madres y padre enseñó a los niños y niñas a hacer zumos de otoño: zumos de naranja, de uvas y de granada.

This group of mothers and father taught to the boys and girls to make autumn juices: orange juice, grape and pomegrante.

También hubo un taller de vaciado de calabazas de Halloween "Halloween pumpkin"

Here is the workshop of pumpkin carving where we empty the Halloween pumpkin.

Y cómo no, un taller de decoración.

And of course a workshop of decoration.

Haciendo zumo de uvas y granadas.

Here we are making grape and pomegranate juices.

¡¡¡¡Al rico zumo de naranja!!!!

TANTO HEMOS TRABAJADO... que había que reponer fuerzas con un espectacular desayuno con fruta y frutos secos de otoño, tradición española de comer "LOS TOSANTOS"

THERE WERE MANY WHO WORKED ... there had to be replenishing forces with a spectacular breakfast with fruit and dry fruits of autumn, Spanish tradition of eating "THE TOSANTOS"

.... Terminamos con la escenificación de una  adaptación muy particular de "Don Juan Tenorio", obra de teatro escrita por José Zorrilla en el siglo XIX y que también se representa en los teatros en estas fechas, ya que parte de la acción transcurre en el día de los difuntos ( 2 de noviembre )

... . We ended up with the staging of a very particular adaptation of "Don Juan Tenorio", a work of theater written by Jose Zorrilla in the nineteenth century, which is also represented in the theaters in these dates, since part of the action takes place in the day of the dead ( November 2 ).

Para concluir las familias americanas nos contaron la tradición de Halloween, con unas divertidas historietas,

¿ Sabeis que...  las calabazas se decoraban con esas caras de miedo y se ponían en las puertas de las casas con una vela encendida dentro y así asustar a los fantasmas la noche de Halloween?

To conclude we were told the American traditions of Halloween from the American families, with some fun cartoons,

the pumpkins were adorned with these faces of fear and were placed at the doors of houses with a lit candle inside and thus scare the ghosts the night of Halloween.
