With naval insignia,	con la insignia marinera:

The dove was wrong.	Se equivocó la paloma.
The dove was mistaken.	Se equivocaba.
To travel north, she flew south,	Por ir al norte, fue al sur.
Believed the wheat was water.	Creyó que el trigo era agua.
Believed the sea was the sky,	Creyó que el mar era el cielo;
That the night was the dawn.	que la noche, la mañana.
That the stars were dew,	Que las estrellas, rocío;
The heat, was snow.	que la calor; la nevada.
Your skirt was your blouse,	Que tu falda era tu blusa;
Your heart, your home.	que tu corazón, su casa.
(She fell asleep on the seashore,	(Ella se durmió en la orilla.

All to yourself,	para ti,
Cartwright.	carretero.
